Eddie leads the world

On Sunday the 1st of August,Eddie Irvine took the lead of the world championship by 8 points.It did'nt seem likly at the start as he had a bad qualifing session on Saturday.To make matters worse the front row was occupied by the McLarens.A bad pit stop put David Coulthard down to last position and then got a 10 second stop-go penalty.It seemed a some-what good day as Mika Hakkinen was cruising in 1st position.a tyre maluntion occured and Ron Dennis was packing his suitcase after Mika Hakkinen spun into a tyre wall.
